Velma J. (Mason) Schuerman, age 78, of Alexandria, Ky., died Monday, December 13, 2010, at University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. She was a retired employee of Globe Tailoring and was a member of Christ Baptist Church of Cold Spring, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Schuerman, a brother Glenn Mason & two sisters Margaret Ann Ratliff & Valerie Mason.
She is survived by her Daughter, Jewell Taylor of Alexandria, KY. Son, Anthony Mason of Houston, TX. Six Sisters, Mary Katherine Jackson, Thelma Louise Mason, Brenda Partin, Patty Mueller, Pamela Pope & Sharon Travis. Brother, Robert Mason. Three grandchildren Jeanie Metcalf, Tim & Travis Woodall.
Two great-grandchildren William & Christian Roby.
Visitation 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, December 17, 2010. Christ Baptist Church Cold Spring, KY. Funeral service 9:30 AM Saturday, December 18, 2010 , at the church Reverend Jason Ballard officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, KY. Memorials can be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation 2880 Boudinot Ave Cincinnati, OH 45238. Alexandria Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
