Joy F. Smith , 89, of Alexandria, KY. passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012 at the River Valley Nursing Home, Butler, KY . She was former Owner\Operator of Phil & Joy's Grocery, Grant's Lick, KY. She was a member of the Fairlane Baptist Church . She was preceded in death by her husband Philip Smith 2011. Joy is survived by 2 sons, Jerry (Carrie) Smith & Jeff (Tracy) Smith, also survived by 3 grandchildren, Natalie, Nathan & Kristin. Visitation 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Sunday, August 12, 2012, at Fairlane Baptist Church, with funeral services Sunday at 5:00 PM at the church. Interment Oakland Cemetery, Grant's Lick, KY. Memorial can be made to Fairlane Baptist Church, 12898 Herringer Road, Alexandria, KY 41001. Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY serving the family.
