Janet C.
Moreland (nee Lauer), 75, of California, KY, passed away February 5, 2017, at
the Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport, KY. Janet was a retired secretary for
Comprehend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Moreland and three
siblings, Arthur, Joseph and Roseann Lauer. Janet is survived by her daughter,
Lisa Weaver; granddaughter, Jenna Nelson; siblings, Patricia Shingleton,
Virginia Gaskins, Mary Berna Marie SND, Vincent Lauer, Paul Lauer and Leroy
Lauer. Visitation 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Alexandria
Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Saint
Mary of the Assumption Church, Alexandria, KY. Interment to follow in Saint
Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas. Memorials to charity of donor’s choice.
