Thomas Wendling, Jr.

Thomas William Wendling Jr., age 83, of Cold Spring, KY passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018. Tom served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War Era. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring, KY. He actively volunteered putting up crosses for the Right To Life organization. He was also a volunteer for St. Vincent De Paul. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Tom is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen C. Wendling (nee Nehus); children, Mike (Trisha) Wendling, Connie (Tony) Anderson and Karen (John) Steffen; brother, Donald (Jeannine, deceased) Wendling; 8 grandchildren, Jared and Abby Anderson, Sydney, Mitchell and Cory Steffen, Allison, Aimee and Anna Wendling. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Frank Bamberger. Visitation will be held at the Alexandria Funeral Home on Monday, July 16th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring, KY on Tuesday, July 17th at 10:30 am.  Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery.
