Oval M. Goad

Oval M. Goad, 88, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport, KY. Oval was a WWII and Korean War veteran and a retired Civilian Advisor for the U.S. Army Reserve, Ft. Thomas, KY; a member & former head deacon at the Main Street Baptist Church of Alexandria, KY; member of the Happy 100’s and former member at the A.J. Jolly Golf Course. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Lois Sanders Goad. Oval is survived by his son, Darrell (Carol) Goad; two grandchildren, Darren (Julie) Goad and Kelli (Adam) Eads and two great grandchildren Avery and Anna Eads. Visitation Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 10:00 until time of funeral service 12:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to The Book Of Remembrance, C\O Main Street Baptist Church, 11093 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria, KY 41001.

    I'm so sorry for your loss. Oval was a very special man. I know he will be missed by all of you. I wish it was possible for me to travel to the services but unfortunately I can't. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love you.
