Thelma P. Weckbach (nee Tarvin) age 97, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at her grandson’s home in Union, KY. Thelma was a retired supervisor for National Band & Tag of Newport, KY. She was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Campbell County Homemakers, Happy 100’s and Sts. Peter & Paul Seniors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Weckbach and three brothers, Lloyd, Meredith and Warren Tarvin; great granddaughter, Emily Rittinger. She is survived by two children, Brenda (Charles) Weimer and Robert Weckbach Jr; sister, Virginia Miller; two grandchildren, Casey Weckbach and Keith (Missy) Rittinger; three great grandchildren, Laura Pettit, Suzanne Hitch and Alex Rittinger; two great-great grandchildren, Rhett Hitch and Caleb Pettit. Visitation Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Alexandria Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in the Persimmon Grove Cemetery.
