Eric William Raney, 12, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Children’s Medical Center, Cincinnati, OH. He was a 7th grade student at Campbell County Middle School, Alexandria, KY. Eric was a member of Boy Scout Troop #96 of Alexandria, KY, he enjoyed playing soccer and loved building things with his Legos. Eric is survived by his parents, Paul and Michele (Spangler) Raney; two brothers, Ryan and Zachary Raney; grandparents Mike and Debbie Spangler, Pam Raney-Kraft and Paul Blake; great grandmothers, Joyce Hungler and Marie Spangler. Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Campbell County Middle School Gymnasium from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Raney Family Benefit Fund at any PNC Bank location.
