Bernice Marie (nee Klein) Schabell , 88 of Alexandria, passed away on February 12, 2013 at her residence. Bernice was a homemaker and also retired from Cincinnati Bell. Graduate of Newport High School. Member of St. Mary Church and St. Mary Seniors, Alexandria. Bernice was born on November 1, 1924 in Newport, KY. to Elmer Klein and Marie Schwerman Klein. Bernice was preceded in death by her daughter Christine McGrath. Bernice is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Joseph E. Schabell, 2 sons - David Schabell of Cold Spring, KY,and Mark (Joni) Schabell of Cold Spring, KY; 2 daughters - Ann (Chuck) Sandfoss of Cold Spring, KY, and Kay (Wayne) Kremer of Alexandria, KY; son-in-law - Tim McGrath of Cold Spring, KY; sister - Betty Schabell of California, KY; Also 14 Loving Grandchildren, and 21 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013, 9:30 am - 11:00 am at St. Mary Church, Alexandria. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Saturday, February 16, 2013, 11:00 am at the Saint Mary Church, Alexandria, Kentucky, with Rev. Joe Gallenstein, officiating. Burial St. Mary Cemetery, Alexandria.
