Charles "Charlie" Lee Hatcher

Charles “Charlie” Lee Hatcher, 90, of Alexandria, KY passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at his home. Charlie was a retired agent for Commonwealth Insurance; he was an Army veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict; a member and former deacon of the First Baptist Church of Highland Heights, a former member and officer of the Alexandria Fair Board, Campbell County Cooperative Extension Service, KY Livestock Improvement Association and former president of the State 4-H Leader Council. He was preceded in death by his wife Beulah Mae Hatcher. Charlie is survived by two daughters, Judith (Roger) Ihrig and Mary Beth Hatcher both of Alexandria, KY; two sons, Charles Lee Hatcher II of Milton, KY and Vaughn Hatcher of Williamsburg, KY; two sisters, Neree Wood of Columbia, SC and Jessie Sills of Rockledge, FL; one brother, John Hatcher of Brazil; eight grandchildren, Todd Ihrig, Craig Ihrig, Russell Ihrig, Charles Lee Hatcher III, Catherine Hatcher, Vaughn Hatcher II, Victoria Henderson and Aaron Linkugel; also survived by 11 great grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Sunday, August 11, 2013 with a funeral service at 7:00 PM Sunday at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Committal service with Military Honors 11:00 AM Monday at the Alexandria Cemetery, Alexandria, KY. Memorials may be made to Baptist Faith Missions, Pastor George Sledd, Treasurer, P.O.
