Kerrie Voelker Kaiser of Alexandria, KY, wife of Joseph Kaiser, died
Friday, October 16, 2015 at the home of her parents, William and Pamela
Voelker. Kerrie was a 1994 graduate of Campbell County High School. She received her B.S. and M.S degrees in
Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Kentucky College of Allied
Health. While completing her graduate program she studied abroad in Wassail,
England. Kerrie was a member of Kappa
Delta Sorority; served on the University Panhellenic Council; and coordinated
several student government elections.
Kerrie served as a speech-language pathologist with the Campbell County
Schools for 14 years. She was dedicated to working with children of all ages
but her true passion was with children ages 3-6. Her students will always
remember her taking them on an imaginary trip to Chic-a-boom-boom Island. Besides her husband and parents survivors
include her son, Ethan Kaiser, Alexandria, KY; brother, Brandon (Caitlin), Cold
Spring, KY; sister, Abigail Voelker, Cold Spring, KY; 11 nieces and nephews;
aunts and uncles; many friends and co-workers. Visitation will be held on
Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm with a Memorial Service at
6:00pm at Main Street Baptist Church, 11093 Alexandria, Pike, Alexandria, KY
41001. A Celebration of Life immediately after at The Bridge Community Church,
1019 Town Drive, Wilder, KY 41076.
Memorials in lieu of flowers suggested to The James Fund for Life, C/O
James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, 660 Ackerman Road, P.O.
Box 183112, Columbus, OH 43218-3112; or, St. Elizabeth Healthcare Hospice, 483
S. Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017. Alexandria Funeral Home is serving the
family.

Remembering back in the early times when she babysat Chase and Lindsay gives me such wonderful memories. We all loved her so much and will miss her dearly. My condolences to all of you and extended family. Ron Becker
