Joan Steelman


Joan E. Steelman (nee Neiser),  85, of Alexandria, KY, passed away on December 2, 2015 at Carmel Manor, Fort Thomas, KY.  Joan was a member of Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ of Alexandria and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Campbell County VFW Post # 3205. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Steelman “2011”.  Joan is survived by two sons, James (Peggy) Steelman and Jeffrey (Brenda) Steelman; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Funeral Service 9:30 AM Saturday, December 5, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ,  1 North Jefferson St. Alexandria, KY 41001.

    Jeff, Jim and families - I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was so sweet & funny. I have so many fond memories of her from my childhood. My mom & dad always spoke so highly of her. She was blessed to have two great sons and a host of family members who cared so lovingly for her these last few years. May God hold you in the palm of His hand and give you strength to get thru the next few day. God bless always.
