Samuel H. Parker, Jr.

Samuel H. Parker, Jr., age 97, of Alexandria, KY passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Sam was a WWII Air Force Veteran and retired supervisor for AT&T. After retirement he worked as a realtor for over 30 years.  He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Pendleton Country Club, American Legion, and the Alexandria Masonic Lodge. Sam was also a 2010 Campbell County High School Athletic Hall of Fame inductee. Sam was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Evelyn (nee Lickert) Parker in 2005. Sam is survived by his children, Gloria Neal, Dennis Parker (Diana), Thelma Parker, and Rita Parker; 7 grandchildren, Tammy, Heather, Megan, Holly, Marla, Maggie, and Annabella; 10 great grandchildren, Joshua, Dillon, Katy, Ally, Evan, Courtney, Emily, Parker, Ava, and Sean; 1 great-great grandson, Gabriel.  Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Alexandria Funeral Home from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 4th at the Alexandria Funeral Home at 9 AM.  Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Alexandria Cemetery. Memorial Donations are suggested to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
