Millard "Sonny" Moore, 74, of Alexandria, KY passed away at his home on March 6. Sonny retired from Schadler Plumbing after 42 years of service. He was a volunteer of the Southern Campbell County Fire Department, member of the Knights of Columbus, loved farming and served in the Army. He is survived by his spouse of 52 years, Marilyn; Daughters, Michelle (Rick) Dischar and Melinda (Larry) Burgess; Grandchildren, Robert and Megan Lee, Brooklyn and Cody Burgess. Visitation will be held Monday, March 10, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Alexandria Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will he held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 10:00 am. Memorials are suggested to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Friday, March 7, 2014

I first met Sonny in 2006 when I brought my first buck to him to process. From day one and every year after that when I brought him a deer to process, he treated me like he had known me all my life. He always took the time to talk to you, share a story , or invite you in to his house for a snack. I will miss him. He was a fine man who loved his family and enjoyed life.
