Clara Belle Hall Tippit, age 83, of Newport, KY passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence, KY. Clara worked as a Nurse Aide for the Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport for 40yrs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Tippit. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Govan (Jerry); four sisters, Ava Sue Jackson, Betty Guy, Judy Carrier and Mary Hodgson; three grandsons, Christopher Lee, Eric Nicholas and Michael Allen Govan. Visitation will be held Monday, March 23, 2015 from 10am to 12pm with the Funeral Service immediately following at Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, KY.
