  1. Dear Riedmatter Family,
We were very fond of your father, Joe. He always told jokes and stories. We built our homes at the same time in Glenridge. He was also a great neighbor. Your dad and mom are at peace with the Lord. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow.

    Joe and Rosalie's neighbors,

  2. Andy, Danny, Susan, and Anmarie and Family,

How strange things are... early last week while I was in the yard with my granddaughter, I was thinking of your Dad and was wondering how he was. The last time I saw him was at your Mother's funeral. Well, then my Mom called on Friday to tell me that your Dad passed away. I suppose that was God's way of letting me know. Well... I loved your family and cherish my memories of baby sitting you when your were little and Anmarie as an infant (weeks). They enjoyed their Saturday dinner and movie and I am glad that I had those years with you. Your Mom and Dad were very special to me and always were very kind. I think of them often and still don't know how your Mom kept such a tight ship around your house. My heart is very sad that they are both gone but the best of them is still inside each one of you. I love you all!

Dear Andy, Danny, Susan, and Annmarie,
We have such fond memories of both your mom and dad as well as you guys when you were little. The old St. Catherine and Scenic View days are still alive in our hearts. I guess we got to know your parents best when we were in a prayer group with them. Your dad's quirky sense of humor; your mom's gentle kindness.
It's very sad to think that they are no longer with us, but we have faith that they are each now with God in heaven.
Certainly we wish to extend our sincere condolences to each of you and your families.
    Sincerely,
    Ken & Marie Shields

  4. Dear Anmarie and family:
My sincere condolences. I remember Mr. Riedmatter when I went to school with Anmarie at St. Catherine. I also remember Mrs. Riedmatter as well, as she worked with my mom at St. Luke and we'd see her at Carmel Manor. I'm sorry for your loss, he was a very kind man. When I saw him at Carmel Manor, he cracked jokes to lighten the mood. My thoughts and prayers with you all.
    Sincerely,
    Jodie Mader

  5. Dear Riedmatter family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I still remember when the Riedmatter family (Aunt Vera, Uncle Ed, Bette, Frani, Paula, Carl and Joe) would visit us on the farm in Virgina when we were growing up as children. We had great times together and will never forget Joe's great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
