Michael R. Augsback, 58, of Grant’s Lick, KY, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Mike was the Director of Engineering for FFR-DSI of Florence, KY. He inspired his family and community with his deep faith in the Lord and unconditional love. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ballou Augsback. Mike is survived by his wife, Donna Watkins Augsback; two sons, Jeffrey (Krishna) Augsback and Justin (Michele) Augsback; Papa's well-loved grandchildren, Jayden and Kendall Augsback; father, Don Augsback; sister, Donna (Tom) Carlisle; brother, John (Kirsten) Augsback. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Plum Creek Christian Church, 961 Nagel Road, Butler, KY 41006. Family and friends are invited to visit from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm. A reception will be held after the service. Memorials are suggested to Plum Creek Christian Church. Alexandria Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mike was a special patient here at the Eastern Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia of the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. He (as well as Donna, his wife), were an encouragement and inspiration to me both as a staff person as well as a fellow cancer survivor.
