Mary Kate Schweitzer, 98, of Newport, KY passed away on November 17, 2014 at the Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport, KY. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church of Highland Heights, KY. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Carl Schweitzer. She is survived by her son, Jimmie Schweitzer; two daughters, Ruth Ann Scherling and Margie Book; brother, Elmer Keith; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014, 2:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church, Highland Heights, KY. A celebration of Mrs. Schweitzer's life will follow funeral service at church. Alexandria Funeral Home serving the family
