Dolores Gunkel Franzen


Dolores Gunkel Franzen, 83, of Melbourne, KY., died Friday, July 15, 2011 at home. She was a homemaker & a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward N. Franzen Jr. She is survived by four sons: Jeffrey, Douglas, Gary & Patrick Franzen.; five sisters: Marcella Schlosser, Mildred Heiert, Edna Wagner, Florence Chalk & Ruth Walker. Also survived by three grandchildren & four great grandchildren. Visitation 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the Alexandria Funeral Home Alexandria, KY. Mass of Christian Burial 12:30 PM Wednesday at Saint Joseph Church Camp Springs, KY. Entombment Saint Stephen Mausoleum Fort Thomas, KY. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass 7388 Turfway Road Florence, KY 41042.
